That's right. They don't want me. I went to a job fair on campus today. It's not necessarily that I'm looking for a new job, it's the fun of going and talking to different people about different careers. It's a good exercise in keeping your mind open to different possibilities, it made me update my resume, and I made a few good contacts. I also went to see what was out there for our graduate students in nursing. So anyway - the age cut off for the Marines is 30 years. I'm finally too old for something. I find this very depressing. I spent most of my first 31 years being too young for various things. Now what's left? AARP membership? The Hemlock Society? What do I have to look forward to now?!!?!?
