In Search Of... was one of the most intriguing television shows of my childhood. Based off of a couple of television documentaries in the earlier 1970's, In Search Of... aired from 1976 to 1982 during its original run. It's been brought back a few times - twice during the 1990's to cable television networks A&E and The History Channel - and once more in 2002 as a revamped Sci-Fi series. It didn't last long. I'm not sure there's any way to truly recapture the unique nature of this show. Keeping in mind that I was very, very young (between the ages of 1-7) when the show originally aired, I remember an absurdly large amount of detail about the show. First, there's the intro music.
